Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue goals.
    • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of account executives, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
    • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the GRC space and adjacent markets.
    • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Team Building & Development
    • Recruit, onboard, and train top sales talent to scale the team effectively.
    • Establish clear performance metrics and manage the team to achieve or exceed targets consistently.
    • Provide coaching and professional development to enhance the team’s skills and effectiveness.
  • Revenue Management
    • Own the sales pipeline, forecast revenue accurately, and ensure predictable sales growth.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and processes.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals with enterprise-level clients when necessary.
  • Market Expertise
    • Stay ahead of industry trends in GRC, information security, and compliance.
    • Leverage deep knowledge of the market to shape messaging, sales approaches, and customer targeting.
    • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for Compyl at industry events and conferences.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience as a VP of Sales or in a similar senior leadership role within a SaaS company, preferably in the GRC or adjacent sectors.
  • A track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive results through others.
  • Strong knowledge of the GRC landscape, including market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience with sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other CRM systems.
  • Passionate about technology and emerging trends, with a customer-centric mindset.
