About Comun
Comun’s mission is to help Hispanic immigrants turn their hard work into upwards mobility — starting with financial services that enable the transition from cash to the digital economy.
We offer checking accounts that immigrants can open using more than 100+ IDs from Latin America; more than 90K locations across the country to deposit cash; international transfers at market leading rates to 17 countries in Latin America; and 24/7 bilingual customer support with <5 min SLA across email, chat and phone.
A year ago we launched our own banking infrastructure, resulting in 100x revenue growth and 4x growth of ARPU. We currently process over $1.5B in transaction volume on a yearly basis, and crossed $100M in annualized international transfers just six months after launching them.
We’ve raised $30M from Redpoint, Costanoa Ventures, and South Park Commons, among others. Most of our team comes from leading fintech companies like Brex and Nubank.
We believe immigrants are the ultimate entrepreneurs, carrying a relentless work ethic in search of a better future for their families. Comun exists to serve them throughout their journey.

About the role
Are you the friend who’s always sending TikToks in the group chat? Do you get excited about spotting the next trend before everyone else? At Comun, we’re building the financial home for Latinos in the U.S., and we believe by storytelling through content we’ll connect with millions of people.
As our Content Intern, you’ll be right in the middle of that mission — shooting, editing, and experimenting with content that actually gets seen. You’ll learn how to take an idea from spark → script → post → performance report, and you’ll get real experience building a fast-growing brand.
What you’ll do:
Create and edit scroll-stopping TikToks, IG Reels, and Shorts.
Drop 10–12 posts a week (mix of fresh trends + reimagined clips).
Add subtitles (EN/ES), experiment with hooks, and design thumbnails that pop.
Test different cuts and formats to see what keeps people watching.
Schedule posts and make sure captions/hashtags are optimized to go further.
-
Share weekly “what worked / what didn’t” learnings — your ideas will directly shape our content strategy.
Why you’ll love it
Real impact: The videos you create won’t sit in a folder — they’ll go live and get seen by millions.
Learn growth marketing by doing: You’ll get hands-on training in how startups use content to acquire and engage users.
Build systems, not just posts: See how to turn scrappy editing into repeatable content engines for a fintech brand.
Go beyond editing: Get exposure to influencer marketing, UGC campaigns, and community activations that bring content to life offline.
-
Level up fast: By the end of this internship, you’ll know how to analyze what works, scale it, and pitch content ideas with confidence.
What we're looking for
You love making videos – editing is fun, not a chore.
You live on TikTok/IG and know what works.
You’re curious, organized, and not afraid to try 10 different ads until you find the best one.
Bilingual (Spanish + English) is a must.
You understand the struggles many immigrants face in the U.S. and want a role where your work can actually make a difference.
Team
We are a team of 38 based out of New York, coming from industry-leading companies like Brex, Nubank, Cruise, and Verkada. Over half of us are immigrants, and have experienced the problems we’re solving first hand. We value customer focus, high ambition, principled decision-making, and deep trust.
