USD 160k-190k / year + Equity
Location: Hybrid | 2-3 days / week in our NYC office
Type: Full-time | Reporting to the CEO
Compensation: Base $160-190k + OTE (base + variable) $280-330k + meaningful equity + competitive benefits
The Mission
We’re building CyborgDB, the Confidential Vector Database that lets enterprises deploy GenAI applications on sensitive data without sacrificing privacy or regulatory compliance. Your mandate: own the entire revenue engine from first touch to closed-won, prove repeatable pipeline, and then stand-up a world-class GTM org.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)
- Full-funnel ownership: Run demand-gen, outbound, events, solution selling and channel/marketplace motions; hands-on until we scale headcount.
- Launch & iterate campaigns: Write copy, build CRM sequences, experiment with paid/organic channels, and A/B across buyer personas.
- Partner ecosystem: Drive joint enablement, co-sell and marketplace listings (starting with existing partnerships like NVIDIA & leading CSPs).
- Deal execution: Lead complex, technical sales cycles with infosec, data-platform and ML stakeholders; map org charts, build business cases, negotiate redlines.
- Build the team: Hire 2-3 Enterprise AEs / SEs in Q4 and shape our sales playbook, territories and comp plans.
- Voice of customer: Feed insights back to Product; influence roadmap on security, compliance and scaling features.
About You (Must-Haves)
- 7-12 yrs selling deeply technical products (security, infra, dev-tools) to technical buyers; former Sales Engineer or similar pre-sales background preferred.
- Track record of taking a product from <$1M to $5-10M ARR as the first GTM or equivalent “full-stack” operator.
- Comfortable rolling up sleeves—building sequences, writing content, demoing, closing and then hiring.
- Experience navigating regulated industries (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, etc.) and mapping multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Familiar with partner co-sell motions, cloud marketplaces or GPU ecosystem a plus.
- Data-driven: fluent in pipeline math, conversion funnels and attribution.
- NYC-based (or willing to relocate); able to travel to 1-2 industry conferences per quarter.
