The Role:

DailyPay is seeking a Capital Markets Quantitative Manager who will report directly to the Head of Capital Markets & Investor Relations. This role will work closely with investors and lenders to drive analysis regarding structured finance deals. Specifically, the role will focus on quantifying funding needs, optimizing funding availability, enhancing existing reporting tools, and improving monitoring / visibility. Additionally this role will support the credit underwriting team and be responsible for automating credit risk management processes, and developing streamlined methods for performing credit reviews of new and existing clients. This role requires an advanced knowledge of Python and SQL, a good understanding of asset-backed financing and credit underwriting, and a keen interest in becoming a subject matter expert in this domain.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Provide quantitative analysis and recommendations on structuring asset-backed transactions to optimize borrowing capabilities
  • Build quantitative models to analyze historical asset pool performance (delinquency, concentration, and revenue generated from the pool), and predict risk limits
  • Develop and enhance reporting scripts and/or programs to ensure efficient deal execution, including compliance reporting on portfolio valuation and pool performance
  • Support the Capital Markets Team in completion of initial and periodic credit reviews by automating credit review process using Python or other tools
  • Analyze all market intelligence for funding impact from potential products and macroeconomic conditions
  • Monitor compliance with deal terms (e.g., concentration limits, covenants, etc.)

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, physics, or mathematics or completion of an immersive coding bootcamp (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years relevant experience performing quantitative analysis in structure finance field; experience with Asset Backed Securitization preferred
  • Applied proficiency in programming languages including Python, SQL; experience with Tableau, Snowflake and database management system is preferred
  • Able to translate Credit Agreements and Offering Memorandum into calculations independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excitement for and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growing team; experience in FinTech a plus

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
