Work You’ll Do

As a Social Strategy Summer Scholar, you’ll be immersed in the fast-moving world of social media, supporting our creative team as you learn the ropes of content creation and digital storytelling. You’ll help brainstorm and develop social-first ideas, work with experienced team members, and contribute to real campaigns that reach audiences where they spend their time. This role is all about growth, creativity, and hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Specifically, you will:

  • Assist in brainstorming and developing creative content ideas for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Support the design and production of platform-native content such as short-form videos, memes, and text posts, and learn to adapt ideas for different channels.
  • Monitor trends and emerging platform moments, helping to identify where brands can participate authentically in online conversations.
  • Learn how to use social analytics and insights to understand what content connects with audiences, and support the optimization of posts for greater engagement.
  • Collaborate with creative leads, designers, and editors to help craft compelling, shareable content and gain exposure to various creative disciplines.
  • Participate in team meetings and creative workshops, contributing your point of view and learning how creative ideas are shaped and presented.
  • Support other social media and brand storytelling initiatives as needed, gaining experience across a range of projects.

As an intern, you’ll receive mentorship, feedback, and hands-on opportunities to build your skills and portfolio—growing alongside talented professionals in a collaborative, growth-focused studio.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree completed by August 2027 with a focus in these related areas of study: Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Digital Media
  • Strong academic track record (3.2 cumulative GPA required, 3.5 cumulative GPA preferred).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (g. 100-mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start date
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • A portfolio showcasing social-first work and motion capabilities
  • Experience experimenting with GenAI or real-time creative tools
  • Proficiency in Mac OS
  • Ability to blend speed, craft, and strategic clarity in fast-paced environments

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $39/hour.
