About the Team

The Client Engineering team builds solutions that enable collaboration across the company. We engineer and oversee identity management, build and manage client platforms, and implement and administer all collaboration tools in our environment. We are the glue that holds teams together at DoorDash!

About the Role

The System Administrator II will automate processes relating to identity access management, onboarding processes, and application integrations. To be successful in this role, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of Okta Workflows. The IT System Administrator team helps maintain compliance efforts for the many systems we support and aids our Service Desk team as a point of escalation.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Client Engineering and will require occasional travel for team events.

  • Fully integrate, test, and scale applications for the company
  • Automate and streamline onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain compliance with access review, change management and reporting
  • Utilize APIs for system automations
  • Basic bash scripting for quick resolvesWork on enterprise system integrations and migrations

  • You have several years of experience as an IT Engineer or System Administrator
  • You have administrative experience with our tech stack: Atlassian, Gsuite, Airtable, Okta, Slack, Tray.io
  • You have Okta administration and workflow experience (certification preferred)
  • You work as a cross-functional employee and enjoy being a resource
  • You exemplify exceptional customer service while maintaining SLA’s
