We operate at the forefront of innovation at DoorDash, building the future of the business beyond restaurants. B2B Auto is one of our newest verticals—focused on enabling delivery and logistics solutions in the automotive space—and we're looking for a self-starter to help us take it from zero to one.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate, Business Development – B2B Auto, you’ll play a foundational role in building and scaling DoorDash’s presence in the B2B automotive logistics space. You’ll report to a Manager on the New Verticals team and partner closely with Pre-Sales, Strategy & Operations, Product, and other cross-functional stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to own and grow a business line from the ground up—ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in ambiguity and loves building structure.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Serve as a key contributor in establishing the B2B Auto vertical, helping DoorDash expand its logistics capabilities into the automotive sector.
  • Lead operational execution from onboarding through scaling, leveraging, and creating internal tools and playbooks.
  • Develop and foster relationships with senior stakeholders across partners and internal teams to unlock strategic growth through relationship management, expansion opportunities, and tailored go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct strategic merchant performance reviews and co-create forward-looking plans with partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner needs and work cross-functionally to resolve issues, drive efficiency, and deliver a best-in-class experience.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, shaping internal strategy and product roadmap through structured partner feedback and collaboration.
  • Devise and run experiments and pilots to test new business models, operational flows, or product additions.
  • Travel occasionally for partner meetings, pilots, conferences, and reviews to deepen relationships and support on-the-ground execution.

We’re excited about you because you…

  • Have 3–5+ years of experience in business development, client success, partnerships, account management, or consulting, ideally within a high-growth tech environment or within retail, ecommerce, or automotive industries.
  • Are entrepreneurial by nature—you thrive in ambiguity, operate with urgency, and love building something from scratch.
  • Are a strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts and the ability to craft and negotiate complex deals.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills, can clearly communicate complex information, and are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Are comfortable using imperfect data to inform decisions and optimize partner performance (experience with tools like Excel, Tableau, Sigma a plus).
  • Excel at cross-functional collaboration and know how to build consensus
  • You are naturally optimistic, but not blinded by conviction.
  • Have proficiency in SQL
