About the Team

The Strategic Sales team at DoorDash's In-Store division is on a mission to redefine and reshape the hospitality industry for restaurant operators around the globe. Our team members are trusted advisors and expert relationship-builders, approaching every conversation with potential clients in a consultative manner to identify their existing business gaps and thinking outside the box to present the perfect solution. We are disrupting the current landscape, opening the door for hospitality operators to the endless opportunities that come with owning guest relationships and streamlining operations.

About the Role

We're hiring an experienced Strategic Account Executive to join our team, responsible for uncovering, driving and closing new business throughout the hospitality industry. You will be engaging with mid-sized to enterprise customers throughout NAM, typically hotel & restaurant groups with 20+ locations as a strategic and consultative sales person who has experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations. Following the recent acquisition by DoorDash, we maintain a unified hiring process and you'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to drive demand for our revolutionary guest-experience platform.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Break into new logos within our largest customer segment of hotel and restaurant groups. Focus on restaurant and hotel acquisition while building strong relationships with partners and advocating for client success.
  • Create demand by clearly articulating and educating prospects on our value proposition. Present products and services during in-person and virtual demonstrations using compelling sales methodologies.
  • Be involved in all phases of the sales lifecycle. Handle everything from identifying and developing leads to meeting with clients, presentations, financial deal structuring, contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build strong relationships with your partners and always advocate for client success. Act as a trusted advisor who ensures long-term partnership success and client satisfaction.
  • Work with cross-functional teammates across Customer Success, Onboarding, Product, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and more. Collaborate to drive comprehensive solutions for enterprise clients.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 5+ years of B2B Enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of sales success, meeting and exceeding targets
  • You have deep understanding and/or relationships within the hotel and/or hospitality industry with previous experience selling complex, multifaceted platforms to mid-market and enterprise-level customers
  • You have superior presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual settings, with natural curiosity and high level of business acumen to navigate large, enterprise organizations
  • You have experience building and maintaining relationships with executive-level stakeholders and are experienced in structuring and negotiating complex, multi-year deals
  • You are technologically savvy and adept at learning new tools and processes, with excellent organization and prioritization skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience with Salesforce and RFP management tools
