Senior Manager, Partner Integrations
DoorDash
About the Team
On the Merchant Strategy & Operations team, our mission is to have best-in class restaurant selection, build modern services for our merchants to grow their business, and help our partners operate. Our Partner Integrations team works with our Merchants to integrate their tech stack with DoorDash (e.g. integrating with the merchant's POS system to improve operational efficiency for our merchants and order quality for our consumers). The team has grown tremendously, evolving from purely serving US restaurants as customers to servicing an integrations platform for DoorDash across markets beyond restaurants and across all our international markets.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Manager who can marry big-picture strategy with deep technical expertise in integrations. You will lead a high-performing technical operations team responsible for managing and scaling complex integrations across markets and verticals. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, operations, and external partners to define our long-term platform vision, execute high-impact initiatives, and communicate effectively at all levels—from engineers to executives.
You will report to the Senior Director of Partner Integrations within our Merchant Strategy & Operations organization. This role is hybrid, with time in-office expected.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Lead with vision – Define and execute the technical strategy for DoorDash’s integrations platform, driving scalability, quality, and innovation across all markets and verticals.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing team – Manage, mentor, and grow a team of technical integration specialists and managers, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Own executive communication – Present strategies, priorities, and results to senior leadership, aligning stakeholders across business, product, and engineering functions.
- Drive cross-functional execution – Partner with product, engineering, operations, and business leaders to ensure integration initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable impact.
- Champion the merchant experience – Advocate for integrated merchants’ needs, ensuring our technical solutions deliver measurable value and drive adoption.
- Manage complex technical programs – Oversee implementation roadmaps, issue resolution, and process improvements for integrations involving APIs, webhooks, and POS systems.
- Use data to drive decisions – Leverage analytics to prioritize initiatives, identify trends, and inform product and operational improvements.
We’re excited about you because…
- You’re a seasoned leader – 5+ years managing high-performing teams, including managers, with a track record of developing talent and building strong team cultures.
- You’re technically fluent – Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and POS integrations, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
- You’re an executive-level communicator – You excel at crafting and delivering clear, compelling communications for senior leadership and external partners.
- You’re detail-oriented – You are process driven & highly organized, with a passion for capturing all details in a way that is understandable to both business and tech
- You’re a data-driven strategist - You can define & drive strategy, and coach others to do the same. Finding & integrating data into the story excites you.
- You’re a problem solver – You like being presented with difficult problems, getting into the weeds to triage for root cause, & coming up with a plan
- You’re an operator at heart – Process-driven, highly organized, and able to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously.
- You’re entrepreneurial – You crave responsibility and want to shape the vision and direction of the company. You love turning unstructured problems into a well-defined plan.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience; must have some experience in integrations
- 5+ years in people management
- Deep technical understanding of integrations (APIs, webhooks, POS systems)
- Proven success leading large-scale integration programs and cross-functional initiatives
- Executive communication experience with senior leadership and external partners
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools
- Bachelor’s degree required
