About the Team

The Enterprise Merchant Insights & Analytics team is responsible for maximizing sales team performance and developing insights & analytics solutions for our enterprise partners and sales leadership in our Enterprise Partnerships & Business Development organizations. The team works cross functionally with business development, account management, strategy & operations, product management, analytics, senior leadership, and data engineering to support our sales teams, meet the evolving needs of our enterprise partners, and drive our business forward.

About the Role

As the leader of our Enterprise Merchant Insights & Analytics team, you’ll use your quantitative background to lead a team of analysts and dive into large datasets to support our sales teams both internally and externally. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone with a strong technical background, paired with the strategic and leadership acumen to establish a vision, work cross-functionally, identify opportunities, adopt new technologies, and lead data-driven initiatives from concept to implementation. You will work highly cross-functionally to innovate on our future approach and insights solutions. You will report into the Senior Director, Enterprise Partnerships within our Enterprise Sales & Business Development organization.

  • Lead a World-Class Team: lead & build a high-performing team that creates quantitative tools, insights, and recommendations that help our sales teams partner effectively with highly strategic, complex, and analytical Enterprise merchants
  • Define & Drive Strategy with Data: Use SQL and other analytics tools to explore complex datasets, identify key business opportunities, and frame insights into actionable strategies.
  • Own Projects End-to-End: Take ambiguous ideas and turn them into well-defined projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to define hypotheses, scope efforts, conduct analyses, and execute solutions.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Enterprise teams to align priorities, share findings, and ensure strategic decisions are supported by rigorous data analysis.
  • Build Decision-Making Tools: Design and automate dashboards, models, and reporting infrastructure that provide clear insights and support long-term growth strategies.
  • Influence with Storytelling: Craft clear and compelling narratives that communicate complex insights in a way that drives alignment and action.
  • Improve Data Foundations: Help identify opportunities to improve data quality and consistency, enabling more scalable and accurate analytics across the business.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You are an experienced analytical leader with a demonstrated track record of high impact
  • You have experience working with and supporting sales teams, including developing executive-level deliverables that are professional and external-facing
  • You have expertise in Analytics tools, SQL, ETL, and proficiency in one or more analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Chartio, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • You have started to adopt new technologies in the space of GenAI/LLMs are are curious about bringing AI automation to the world of analytics and insights
  • You deftly use data and insights to inform strategies, and can effectively move new initiatives through a large and growing organization mapped to direct and indirect business priorities
  • You have strong written/verbal communication and presentations skills, and experience influencing across executive stakeholders both internally and externally
  • You have the determination to initiate and lead new projects
  • You have 10+ years experience in data analytics, consulting, sales insights, or a related quantitative role and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5+ years in people management (including leading leaders)
  • You hire and recruit top and diverse talent to drive outsized impact on the business and contribute positively to DoorDash’s culture

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details:

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
