About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Content Marketing Manager EMEA to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that support our marketing campaigns across the EMEA region. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to align content with business objectives will be crucial in driving engagement and achieving campaign goals. In this role, you will own the production of written customer success stories inhouse and in collaboration with external agencies. Your ability to distill complex information into engaging narratives will be essential in demonstrating our value proposition to new and existing merchants and partners.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development: Create and implement content strategies that align with marketing campaign goals across the EMEA region, focusing on the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
Regional Collaboration: Collaborate with Regional Marketing Leads to adapt global campaign content for local markets, ensuring relevance and effectiveness to drive pipeline growth.
Content Planning Consultation: Advise regional marketing leads on content plans for both country-specific and cross-country campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and campaign themes.
Content Production Oversight: Oversee the creation of high-quality long-form and short-form content, including whitepapers, videos, and blogs, tailored for various distribution channels.
Case Study Development: Lead the production of written case studies in collaboration with marketing, sales, and product teams, conducting in-depth interviews with enterprise merchants to highlight key benefits, challenges, and solutions.
Agency Management: Manage the production of mid-market case studies through local agencies, ensuring thorough editing and proofreading for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Content Calendar Management: Coordinate with agencies to manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content assets that support campaign timelines and goals.
Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign performance metrics and KPIs to measure content effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for continuous optimization.
Audience and Industry Insight: Stay attuned to the EMEA audience and current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing and campaign management.
Requirements
Content Management Expertise: Proven experience in content management and production, ideally in the retail or ecommerce sector.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business objectives into effective content strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Narrative Skills: Ability to simplify technical and complex information into compelling narratives.
Global Marketing Experience: Experience in a global or EMEA-wide marketing role.
Market Knowledge: Understanding of EMEA market dynamics and cultural nuances.
SEO and Content Marketing: Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing successful case studies or relevant writing samples.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
