Director, Segment Marketing, Enterprise

Expel is on the hunt for a Director of Marketing for our Enterprise segment, and we want someone who's ready to dive in and make some serious waves! You'll be the mastermind behind our strategy, planning, and execution of campaigns, focusing on driving revenue and market recognition. What you can do for Expel

  • Serve as the bridge between marketing and our enterprise sales team, ensuring they're fully aligned on how Marketing can support their efforts and vice versa.
  • Take the lead on developing strategic ABM programs tailored to the needs of our enterprise segments, collaborating closely with sales leadership and iterating based on performance.
  • Get creative with developing enterprise campaigns across various channels—think promoted content, webinars, ebooks, and more—to boost brand awareness, build pipeline, and smash bookings targets.
  • Dive into performance metrics alongside Revenue Operations, crafting a system to track critical metrics and extract actionable insights to inform future plans.
  • Lead and mentor a rockstar team of marketing professionals, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and growth.

What you should bring with you

  • Over 15 years in the enterprise/SaaS tech world, with at least a decade in marketing. Embrace change like a pro in our fast-evolving company, where ambition is the name of the game.
  • Dive deep into cybersecurity with over 5 years of industry experience. You know how security execs and practitioners think, act, and buy.
  • Mastered the art of Account-Based Marketing, with 5+ years building and managing ABM programs. Collaborate seamlessly with sales teams to launch and track outcomes.
  • Lead by example with prior experience hiring and inspiring teams to greatness. It's all about bringing out the best in people!

Additional Notes

Pay range: $151,000 - $219,000 + bonus eligibility and equity.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.

Our headquarters is in Herndon, Virginia, however our team is mostly remote, and we have full support for remote interaction. We realize that while there is benefit to in-person interaction, good people don’t all live in Northern Virginia.
