ForceField Robotics is building the next leap in industrial automation: a new class of AI-powered robots designed to tackle dangerous tasks in manufacturing. Based in Brooklyn NY, our founding team is solving some of the toughest technical problems in robotics today and we’re growing.
This role is based in NYC and requires building physical products onsite.
Qualifications
- Proven experience building products at the cutting edge of autonomous robotics, including locomotion, navigation, and/or manipulation
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Software Engineering, or related field
- Deep technical understanding of latest AI technologies: simulations of E2E autonomous systems, generative models, machine learning / reinforcement learning, vision-language-action models
- Locomotion experience designing and tuning locomotion stacks (gait planning, inverse kinematics, balance control)
- Controls systems experience including joint-space and task-space control, PID tuning, torque-based control, impedance/admittance models
- Expertise in physics simulators (e.g. Mujoco, Isaac Sims) and transferring control policies to hardware
Preferred
- Hardware / Software product integration experience
- Record of building physical intelligence products that have scaled to mass production
