This role is based in NYC and requires building physical products onsite. Qualifications Proven experience building products at the cutting edge of autonomous robotics, including locomotion, navigation, and/or manipulation Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Software Engineering, or related field Deep technical understanding of latest AI technologies: simulations of E2E autonomous systems, generative models, machine learning / reinforcement learning, vision-language-action models Locomotion experience designing and tuning locomotion stacks (gait planning, inverse kinematics, balance control) Controls systems experience including joint-space and task-space control, PID tuning, torque-based control, impedance/admittance models Expertise in physics simulators (e.g. Mujoco, Isaac Sims) and transferring control policies to hardware Preferred Hardware / Software product integration experience Record of building physical intelligence products that have scaled to mass production
