This role is based in NYC and requires building physical products onsite.Qualifications- Proven experience working in consumer or industrial products, with direct impact on mechanical design of robotics systems and components (actuators, gears, skeletal parts)- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field- Expertise in DFM / DFA methodologies, tolerancing, manufacturing processes, CADPreferred- Hardware / Software product integration experience- Proficiency in, or experience collaborating with, Controls / EE (firmware, sensors, actuator packaging)- Record of mechanical design for products that have scaled to mass production
