ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Client Engagement Specialist you will play a critical role in driving our business growth, supported by our Business Development team's effective strategies. As a Client Engagement Specialist, you'll focus on relationship management, understanding client needs, and daily execution, driving partner relationships, and handling operational tasks. You'll collaborate closely with Giant Machines’ cross-functional delivery leaders and project teams to foster strong client relationships and ensure seamless project delivery, exceeding expectations. We seek a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical individual who thrives in our dynamic environment, identifying growth opportunities and providing strategic insights.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Conduct client discovery during the sales process, understanding the underlying motivations behind client questions, objections, and statements.
- Assist in managing the sales process and ensure prompt responses to client inquiries, collaborating with internal teammates as necessary.
- Support sales/pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, responding to RFPs, and creating compelling proposals and presentations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts using our CRM system.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective clients.
- Promote Giant Machines' value proposition to existing customers within a highly competitive market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure overall success and client satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Giant Machines' offerings and products to showcase our value to clients.

The successful candidate will have exceptional relationship management skills and a passion for selling professional services in the industry and understanding Giant Machines' offerings to drive business growth and success. - Drive and determination to succeed in a high-growth environment
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, analytical mindset, and strong teamwork orientation
- High emotional intelligence to infuse empathy and behavioral analysis into work and advocate for it within teams and non-engineer team members
- 4+ years of professionals services or tech sales experience
- Proven track record of generating revenue in a sales environment
- Comfortable with closing complex $100K+ deals and accurately forecasting future opportunities
- Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) with a positive and energetic phone presence
- Highly self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
- Capable of working independently and within a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent ability to understand customer needs and decision-making processes, generating value for them
- A driving force in improving and optimizing processes, training, technology use, and other aspects of the business
- Demonstrated market and competitive knowledge
- Analytical and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a client-facing role and collaborates effectively with others

NY Pay Transparency: The pay range for this position is 70K - 75K annually
