- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience influencing and advising senior stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA.
- 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
- 2 years of experience in the digital advertising landscape and media agencies.
- 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
- Experience with spreadsheet and presentation software.
About the job
The Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team ensures Google's Ads business runs smoothly, and works to set GTM strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. The HoldCos team covers all the major advertising and marketing agencies, and develops and maintains senior executive relationships, design and implement partnership initiatives, negotiate agreements spanning media and platforms.
As the Strategy and Operations Lead, you will act as the COO and Chief Strategy Officer ensuring that the team meets expectations for the business. You will work with several Director partners to develop the GTM sales strategy for both businesses and drive execution across the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop GTM sales strategy and execution to achieve ambitious yearly business growth and OKRs goals.
- Drive operational logistics for the team, including resource allocation, engagement models, driving weekly management meetings, setting KPIs and measuring progress/identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Lead annual and quarterly planning for teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve team efficiencies, and lead efforts to scale best practices and collaboration across the sectors and partner teams.
- Participate in and help manage cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring proper strategy, implementation, and adoption.
