- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity role, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
- Experience working cross-functionally and managing relationships with client and stakeholder executives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience developing business strategies.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses, leadership, teams, and comfortable with ambiguity.

About the job
The Product Operations team sits within the Global Sales Activation (GSA) team, and is responsible for leading sales tools strategy across business operations, governance, legal compliance, sales enablement, and measurement and analytics. GSA resides within the Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations team and enables Google’s Business Organization (GBO) to drive customer success.
As a Strategy and Operations Associate in the Global Sales Activation organization, you will work directly with business executives and key leaders on critical business projects to unlock the full value of our internal sales tools.
You are innovative and collaborative with a passion for making the lives of Google Ads sellers easier every day. You are comfortable operating under uncertainty, structuring complicated issues, and finding creative solutions to business challenges. You are comfortable working in a rapidly changing industry, you demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight, and you are an expert communicator. In this cross-functional role, you will work with key partners across global product leads for external and internal systems, product management, engineering, marketing, risk, compliance, legal, and finance.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000-$136,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own strategic initiatives on both an ongoing and ad-hoc basis, working collaboratively across the global organization.
- Structure independently and execute on large and complex projects.
- Identify opportunities to drive user value through change management, removing redundancies, and driving operational excellence.
- Develop clear, concise and compelling communications to business stakeholders and/or Google Ads sellers.
