Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity role, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Experience in critical business areas, with understanding of the broader industry and engaged landscape.

About the job

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Large Customer Sales cross-regional Retail Business teams and other cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., GPS, Ads Finance,). Your primary goal will be to accelerate retail ALCS business and ensure the long-term viability of the business by addressing cross-product issues and opportunities, overseeing intricate workstreams, and developing and supporting exceptional processes. You will also serve as a crucial thought partner to pGTM leadership on pivotal matters, providing clear direction for issues, extracting valuable business insights, and identifying proactive opportunities to enhance our cross-product activation strategies within the region. Your collaborating skills, excellent written and verbal communication, structured and bold thinking, and an action-oriented approach with a structured problem solver and a clear communicator will inspire individuals at all levels of the organization.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

For US Applicants:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000-$138,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects that design, execute, and measure impact of initiatives.
  • Own hypotheses to key issues and be the main contributor to findings and solutions by partnering with peers to deliver data-motivated insights and synthesize recommendations for executive decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across business areas and regions to drive insights and recommendations to leadership and working teams, based on analysis, experience, technical acumen, and skilled judgment.
  • Support existing initiatives through ongoing analysis and project management.
  • Identify additional areas of opportunities and develop tactical plans, and mobilize stakeholders to execute to improve customer and seller satisfaction.
