We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
In this role, you will focus on providing infrastructure and analytic tools for feature developers in Google Maps to run analytics and collect and compare user metrics for those experiments and launches to ensure that features are driving improvements to the Google Maps user experience by enhancing user engagement, refining the UI and navigation experience, and developing innovative features that maintain its position as the leading mapping product.
This role involves leading the Maps Experiments team, which owns and operates Geo's A/B experimentation platform. This involves building and developing technical expertise while leading a small team of engineers to scale out and serve Geo's experimentation and analytics needs.
