- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g., search, social, mobile, display, and video media).
- 5 years of experience creating and presenting customer-facing materials (e.g., pitches, narratives, or one-sheets) for sales teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with the agency landscape and relevant industry trends.
- Experience with first-party data and tools (e.g., Wildcat, Plx, etc.).
- Experience with third-party data (e.g., syndicated data sources like MRI, Comscore, etc.).
- Ability to see and simplify big-picture strategy and implications through granular data for C-level audiences at agencies and within key industries.
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders at agencies and within client organizations.

As a Strategic Insights Lead, you will play a critical role in how Google connects with agencies and the industry ecosystem to achieve our most ambitious goals. In this role, you will craft compelling go-to-market narratives that resonate with agency executives and practitioners alike. Grounded in research, your work will define the "why" and "how" to win—driving growth for Google, our agency partners, and their clients. You will build a partnership with executive leadership and the opportunity to scale your storytelling and strategic mindset. You will be at the forefront of sales strategy and insights, solving the most complex challenges agencies face in today's shifting market.
Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop annual thought leadership strategy for agency and industry engagement. Develop and present insights-driven perspectives and narratives in front of VP/C-level audiences at agencies and within key industries. Collaborate with partner teams to drive scaled activation.
- Analyze market, consumer, and competitive data/trends to develop fresh point of views with clear business and marketing implications to accelerate client and agency growth.
- Collaborate with Research Leads to source and customize agency-focused data, crafting compelling narratives that address industry trends and unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Intelligence, GMI, GCAS) to synthesize cross-organization insights into tailored narratives for agency audiences, covering Ads, Cloud, and AI.
- Own development of keynote(s) for critical industry events and conferences; lead cohesion and weave POV throughout event content to persuade clients and agencies to think and act differently.
