Minimum qualifications:

- 4 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience developing and executing narratives and engagement strategy.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with technical data center experts.
- Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
- Ability to think outside the box and propose commercially and technically creative solutions.
- Ability to comfortably work in ambiguous, collaborative, and fast-paced environments.

As Google's products and services scale the globe, the Strategic Negotiation team works behind the scenes to secure infrastructure for Google's future -- everything from underwater cables to physical data center space. As a Strategic Negotiator, you combine your deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions to support Google's infrastructure growth. You'll work with specific project teams on negotiating deals, managing vendor and partner relationships and presenting deal recommendations to our Tech leadership. Your successful negotiations have the potential to save Google millions of dollars in operating costs and impact every part of the business.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the team’s primary cross-functional liaison with partners, including the Water, Sustainability, Energy, and Comms teams to ensure narrative and content alignment and delivery with in-market needs.
- Work with the market development leadership team, cross-functional internal partners and external consultants to create, manage, and execute strategic communications and public engagement campaigns.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and projects to create compelling content that conveys Google’s positive global and local impact, including white papers and reports, videos, blog posts and op-eds, website copy, event proposals, and social media posts.
- Provide counsel and support to executives on media engagement, external thought leadership opportunities, and internal communications, including preparing speeches, presentations, and materials to educate leadership on energy initiatives, needs, and impact.
