Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving agency success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling and engaged selling.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on both performance and brand marketing.
  • Knowledge of agency business models (digital and traditional), customer retention, growth and new business acquisition for agencies.
  • Knowledge of traditional vs. online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in a sales context, and consistently achieve goals and business objectives to drive growth.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The US Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Agency Partnerships team leads long-term agency relationships to support growth across Google products at the agency level, supporting account/advertiser level success in collaboration with platforms Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and business (MMS) teams, while also coordinating with our cross-channel counterparts in LCS.

In this role, you will have a customer-centric approach to solve issues, sales leadership/ownership, velocity, influence and thrive in ambiguity.
You will be navigating internal Google processes, products, and teams, and thriving when leading/shaping important partnerships for Google. You will manage relationships with partners, execute agreements, and measure impact, enabling Google to be successful. You will possess skills in relationship-building, negotiation, project management, and collaboration. You will also engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations making Google a better place to work.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth objectives; grow agency business by driving scalable product adoption and growth across a broad portfolio of Agency clients.
  • Own a portfolio of agencies by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Work across levels of agency partners to grow new and existing business consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding sales experiences to Google's agency partners.
  • Collaborate with Large Customer Sales (LCS) Agency counterparts on cross-channel agencies, align on strategic and product priorities with Google Customer Solutions to provide a cohesive experience to our agencies and their clients.
  • Shape the agency program by being a thought partner for the Agency Lead on initiatives and agency-level planning.
