Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, marketing or communications, business strategy, investment banking, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience building assets and marketing content.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in product marketing, internal marketing, brand marketing, L&D.
- Experience within change management best practices or AI for efficiency.
- Knowledge of Google ad products and the sales organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating creative and strategic thinking.
- Strong project management and executional skills, including management of outside partners/vendors.
- A natural collaborator and team player willing to pitch in wherever needed.

Global Commercial Enablement (GCE) sits within the GTM organization laddering up to GBO. GCE's mission is transforming complex product & intelligence strategy into high-velocity, AI-optimized sales & learning motions to accelerate customer growth.
The Commercial Activation Marketing team sits within Global Commercial Enablement (GCE), and is responsible for leading holistic direct-to-seller internal marketing strategy and execution across the Global Commercial Enablement team and its priority areas, including Ads products (GPS), and skills training (GBOedu) and tools (GBAI).
Our team's mission is to empower Large Customer Sales (LCS) to win by transforming complex business strategy into creative, seller-first marketing, driving awareness and adoption.
As a Marketing and Comms Manager on the GCE Marketing team, you will work directly with partners in Global Product Solutions (Ads Products), Global Business & Operations Edu (Sales Training), and Global Business Applied AI (Internal CRM tools) on critical marketing to unlock the full value of our enablement to support seller impact. You will also serve to support the marketing team in daily operations.
This is truly a cross-functional role working to support key marketing team members, own your own projects and align with key cross-functional partners.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$165,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop clear, concise, and compelling marketing materials for Google Ads sellers and/or business stakeholders, including distilling complex product strategy into seller-first framing & narratives and partnering with data/insights teams to develop insights and performance summaries.
- Own strategic initiatives, both planning and execution, on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis.
- Own daily team operations, such as budget, marketing calendar, office hours, agency roster, vendor management, etc. to ensure scalability and setting the team up for consistent delivery on initiatives.
- Drive value through an understanding of change management.
- Manage a variety of global and regional stakeholders across a range of products, keeping detailed stakeholder maps.
