Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in a business development or partnerships role in the games industry.
- Ability to manage priorities and stay organized in a changing environment.
- Ability to identify and propose solutions, and manage process and strategy improvements to scale initiatives.
- Ability to structure problems, execute data-driven analysis, and craft/deliver presentations.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.Google Play is more than a store; it is the engine of the Android ecosystem, connecting over two billion users to the apps and games they love. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build long-term relationships with key partners and deliver Play’s tools and offerings, and drive growth by owning and scaling the most influential mobile games globally.
- Drive the adoption of products and key priority programs, and act as a subject matter expert who shapes product strategy by contributing to the product market feedback loop in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Act as a consultant by transforming raw game metrics into clear data-driven growth strategies, and develop and maintain games industry subject matter expertise to advise partners.
- Craft narratives to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and influence internal and external executive stakeholders.
- Build and leverage a network across Google to drive developer value, and drive the mission to make Play the most efficient and hospitable platform for developers to publish and scale.
