- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in project delivery, prioritization, and working with cross-functional stakeholders to influence strategy and decision making.
- Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills, combined with business judgment and experience working on complex operational and strategic initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage complex topics simultaneously and drive them to completion, with minimal guidance and high attention to detail.
- Ability to establish relationships, collaborate at all organizational levels, and with various cross-functional technical and business partners.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and people skills.
About the job
Google's Brand and Reputation team is a cross-functional leadership forum mandated with driving positive outcomes on complex, sensitive issues in the US market, aimed at enhancing Google's brand and reputation. The forum is composed of Senior US Leaders across Global Business, Marketing, Government Affairs & Public Policy (GAPP), Communications, Partnerships and others.
As the strategy and operations lead for Google Brand and Reputation, you will partner with the forum chair (President of ALCS) to enable the outcomes of brand and reputation initiatives with Key Opinion Formers (KOFs): policy makers, press, partners, and the general public. Specifically, in this role you will drive brand and reputation forum business cadence and enable progress against strategic priorities.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead the business cadence and content strategy for the US Velocity forum.
- Anticipate potential reputational risks and ensure they receive appropriate attention and leadership decision-making. Evaluate and surface shifts in prioritization as needed.
- Execute and prioritize a comprehensive program calendar, aligning cross-functional initiatives across comms, marketing, GAPP, and GBO.
- Establish and maintain dashboards/scorecards to monitor progress against velocity OKRs, building the necessary relationships to capture critical data inputs.
- Manage day-to-day project delivery for velocity workstreams, collobarting with GAPP, marketing, and others, including initiatives to deepen engagement with KOFs on pivotal topics like AI.
