Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, regulatory, legal or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with AI tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leadership & operational strategy, such as change management, performance measurement, and business restructuring.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing people in a matrix organization and across a region.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
  • Strong consulting background (e.g., from management consulting) for problem solving, developing frameworks, stakeholder management.

Regulatory Affairs helps the company innovate responsibly and comply with laws around the world. We partner with teams across global affairs, product areas, and the rest of the company to ensure constructive engagement with governments and regulators while mitigating risk.

In this role, you will work closely with members of Regulatory Affairs and act as the central operations support for the department's role in the broader regulatory lifecycle. You will also partner with teams across Google and Alphabet’s Public Policy, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Finance and product areas to support the handling of some of the most important issues for the company today.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $219000 - $306000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Advise Regulatory Affairs leadership on critical OKRs, business plans, and operating plans while defining change management strategies to implement new initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner for senior leadership, collaborating on business development initiatives and overseeing strategic planning and special project execution.
  • Communicate clear narratives to inform and influence senior executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Identify broad problems and translate them into tactical projects and actionable work steps for the team.
  • Facilitate escalations across Regulatory Affairs and cross-functional teams to drive effective solutions.
