- Bachelor's degree in a research or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience designing, scoping, and executing research and analysis projects.
- 7 years of experience translating business problems into research questions and translating research findings and insights into marketing recommendations.
- Experience managing research and measurement agencies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience designing and customizing analytical dashboards and data visualization tools.
- Experience in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language
- Expertise in social platforms, content formats, and algorithmic trends, including the YouTube ecosystem, creators and culture. Experience managing paid social campaigns.
- Track record of optimizing workflows, scaling operations, and driving team agility, including experience leveraging AI to accelerate insights, strategy and implementation.
- Strong autonomy in leading large-scale, global projects with multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication skills to build executive narratives and influence internal partners.
About the job
You will drive measurement, analysis, and testing initiatives supporting global and regional marketing programs. You will directly analyze large data sets, and design and perform statistical analyses that continuously improve our process efficiency and campaign impact. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of marketing, product management, analytics and engineers, you will tap into the underlying data, align on key metrics/methodologies and generate insights that enable marketers to develop valuable, highly effective programs.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $171000 - $248000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of analytical roadmaps and scalable solutions to address complex, ambiguous marketing challenges.
- Provide actionable insights and evidence-backed recommendations to key decision-makers, directly impacting business direction.
- Design customized dashboards and data visualizations to effectively capture data, track trends, and share insights, enabling greater automation and self-serve solutions and tools.
- Drive the adoption of strategic research methodologies to evaluate campaign impact, accounting for trade-offs and experimental design best practices.
- Lead the Social Analytics outlook for YouTube in the AI era, defining the roadmap for emerging technologies to integrate into our data and analytics workflows.
