About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

At YouTube, we believe the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We collaborate to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and engage with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of technology and creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve problems, and have fun — and we do it all as a team.

In Core and Artist Marketing, our goal is to strengthen our product experiences within the YouTube main app to responsibly grow among key audiences. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be a marketing guide defining YouTube’s opportunity and positioning across different experiences by delivering insights-based strategies, crafting narratives, shaping product, and activating Go-To-Market. You will act as the link across functions and local, regional, and global teams. You will assist our Cultural Moments team, helping bring the world's biggest moments to life on YouTube.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
