Job Description

The Engagement Manager serves as the face of Hebbia for our most important customer relationships, and as a critical conduit connecting the needs of our users with the product and engineering teams working to shape the product to their needs. As an early member of the business team, where needed, this person will also engage across engineering, sales, marketing, and core operations by providing planning, analytical, operational, and strategic support.

We are looking for hard-charging generalists who can transition easily from deeply empathetic discovery sessions with new customers to who combine analytical rigor and an obsessive focus on outcomes with an empathetic interpersonal style. If you enjoy solving hard problems and building strong teams and relationships while doing it, we’d love to hear from you!

You will:

  • Own and manage relationships with key stakeholders, from frontline investors to executives
  • Integrate Hebbia's AI into investor workflows to drive step-changes in efficiency and efficacy
  • Drive product use through your ability to understand customer pain, influence customers to adopt the product and deliver bespoke solutions
  • Establish and track against customer value metrics to support growth and expansion
  • Work in close partnership with product and engineering teams to deliver against customer objectives
  • Build and incubate core company processes and systems
  • Opportunity to eventually lead small teams with a focused mandate and coverage area

Ideally you'd have:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in private equity, consulting, or other roles requiring a blend of analytical, strategic, and cross-functional work.
  • Start-up experience
  • A CS or STEM background
  • Strong customer facing and relationship management skills
  • Skills and experience very quickly building trust-based relationships within financial services
  • Strong orientation towards outcomes, and a history of being scrappy when it counts
  • Passion for learning and driving outcomes
