Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Blue Studio is responsible for the strategic evolution and expression of the IBM brand and sub-brands across every experience and encounter, internally and externally. The Blue Studio is expanding its capabilities to develop advertising for IBM. Our goal is to maintain and exceed IBM’s legacy of exceptional creative to drive understanding of the IBM brand in
the world.
IBM is looking for a talented Art Director to build our advertising capability, working as a team with a Copywriter. The Art Director (in partnership with the Copywriter) will be responsible for creating and delivering high quality art direction across a variety of paid media channels including film, print, OOH, Digital, and more. We are looking for someone who can take creative insights and briefs and turn them into powerful messaging that works and drives impact.
The person in this position will be working in a real-time /fast turnaround environment as part of a house. You will be joining a close-knit team of creatives to create fresh, bold, distinctive and breakthrough content.
Responsibilities:
• Be a brand steward of the brands’ look and feel and be able to adapt it on various channels
• Works closely with creative lead to bring the team’s strategy to life visually and conceptually
• Ideate and execute sound creative ideas for marketing materials
• Collaborate with the brand marketing, strategy and other teams to
develop and present creative concepts International Business Machines ™
• Tailor concepts to business objectives and audience demographics
• Work independently and collaboratively with a Copywriter partner to develop ideas, refine concepts and ensure creative vision is achieved and client expectations are met
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Deep experience at an advertising agency with experience in b2b tech
• Strong connection to technology
• Exceptional design aesthetic, variations on styles, and awareness of design trends and innovation
• Proficiency with AfterEffects, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Google docs, Keynote and PowerPoint
• Solid typography and layout skills
• The ability to see when and how to grow a concept
• Proactive, positive, and a self-starter
• Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
• Ability to provide/present portfolio of recent work
