Senior Application Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Participate in pre and post-sales technical scoping, requirements gathering, and design solution creation and review. Support sales/leadership team by authoring responses to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs. Translate IT requirements in the design, development, and assembly of components to create custom information systems. Assists clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions. Use in-depth consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients’ business environment in order to achieve client expected business results. Design applications required to automate business processes and meet business needs. Participate in elaboration sessions with clients to understand client vision, requirement gathering. Assist with preparation of client facing technical communication and documentation. Lead cross-functional teams with business. Perform Adobe Commerce (Magento) customizations and custom module development required as per requirement. Develop applications in languages including PHP and Adobe Commerce (Magento) 2.x. Utilize: Adobe Commerce/Magento, Adobe Commerce Cloud, PHP/ MySQL, Shopify plus/BigCommerce Enterprise, and Project Management. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Adobe Commerce/Magento, Adobe Commerce Cloud, PHP/ MySQL, Shopify plus/BigCommerce Enterprise, and Project Management. $169,229.00 per year.
