Solution Architect, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 20% telecommuting permitted): Design, evaluate and develop proposals for client’s pain points in both Request for Proposal (RFP) format and non-RFP format. Communicate with client’s third-party advisor to provide solutions for client problems. Design Cognitive Procurement Services (CPS) procurement solutions for external clients, managing standard and ad-hoc solution teams. Support procurement processes including category sourcing, shared services best practice, IT enablers, procurement digital transformation and transition of work from clients to company delivery centers to provide tailored industry solutions. Target solution development areas that cover scope definition and alignment. Lead client interactions through site visits, yellow pads, and orals. Define proposed service delivery model and target operating model. Coordinate and write solution proposals and presentations for senior level client stakeholders. Utilize: Rapid Scan, Benchmark Tracker, Cognitive Virtual Assistant, Intelligent Workflow, Spend analysis. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Data Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Solution Manager or related.
