Your role and responsibilities

1. Perform updates and maintain new and existing capital and non-capital fixed assets including asset identification tagging, location identification, physical count, and departmental asset owners

2. Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.

3. Coordinates transfer of equipments and updates the assets module with each transfer

4. Reconciles fixed assets module with related fixed assets general ledger and coordinates any variances with relevant fixed assets accounting staff

5. Run depreciation for all fixed assets as per agreed timelines

6. Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.

7. Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets.

8. Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries.

9. Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations

10.Perform fixed assets close process(monthly, quarterly and yearly)by performing activities, including account reconciliations, journal entry preparations, management reports, as well as other financial analyses and reports that may be required by the management

11. Prepare and distribute fixed asset management reports, as well as statistical analysis each month

12. Ensure timely and accurate transfer of account data to General Ledger.
