The project you will be working on will be in support of maintaining current on-premises networking while supporting cloud migration. Work will be performed onsite in a SCIF in Washington, DC
Additional tasks include:
- Responsible for troubleshooting network incidents, providing root cause analysis and documenting information in tickets and knowledge repositories
- Help to establish cloud-based network architecture based upon business requirements, for cloud migrations, while maintaining architectural best practices
- Analyze and adapt existing network infrastructure and network implementations to function in a cloud-based environment using cost-effective best practices
- Provide expert-level guidance to supervisory staff on networking considerations for cloud migrations and new infrastructure
- Provide all necessary documentation to detail networking and cloud infrastructure designs
- Develop, implement, and manage network engineering processes including configuration management and design standards to ensure compliance, relevancy, and sustainability
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Clearance: Must currently hold and have the ability to maintain Top Secret and be SCI eligible
- 10+ years of experience managing enterprise network infrastructures
- Experience with Cisco Networking, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Routers, LAN, WAN, and nodes
- Experience with General Dynamics TACLANE
- Experience with WireShark, Solarwinds and other analysis tools
- Expert-level experience in networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, security and encryption, DNS, etc.
- Extensive experience in designing, deploying, managing and monitoring Firewalls such as Cisco ASA, VMware NSX Edge Gateway & distributed firewall, or Palo Alto in an enterprise environment
- Experience in Cloud Networking and Hybrid Networking technologies such as Site to Site VPN, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute
- Experience architecting network infrastructure that adheres to compliance frameworks such as NIST, CCPA, GDPR, or PCI DSS
- Experience with AWS GovCloud
- Experience with FedRAMP policies, protocols and procedures
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or CISA
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certifications
