IBM is looking to hire an AFM metrology engineer to join our team in the fast paced, exciting environment of semiconductor research R&D. The candidate will be working closely with other metrology engineers, process owners, and integration to deliver metrology solutions for advanced semiconductor technology.
In this role you are responsible for the following:
- Develop robust inline AFM infrastructure for fast recipe creation turn-around time and first time right measurements.
- Analysis of AFM KPIs, daily readouts of AFM performance, and weekly reports on improvement plans.
- AFM metrology line support for day-to-day operations addressing spec fails, measurement fails, etc.
- Continuous improvement of AFM measurement robustness and precision. Assisting technician team on AFM best known method development for complex structures.
- This role will also involve interaction with equipment vendors to evaluate new tool capabilities and identify areas for collaboration and overlay optimization.
You are required to have a minimum of the following experience:
- 2+ years experience using Bruker AFM tools.
- 4+ years experience in Semiconductor field.
- 2+ years experience working knowledge of AFM infrastructure and software suites.
- 2+ years experience with data analysis and presenting to technical audience.
- Bachelors in Science or engineering discipline.
- 4+ years experience using AFM metrology tools.
- 1+ year experience with run to run line control software.
- 6+ years experience in Semiconductor field.
- 4+ years expert knowledge of AFM infrastructure and software suites.
- Masters or PhD in Science or Engineering discipline.
