We are seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Administrator to support ALTESS commercial cloud customers in Microsoft Azure (Gov/DoD). ALTESS is a managed service provider (MSP) for Army IT systems, specializing in enterprise application migration and sustainment services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct security scans, interpret compliance reports, and validate technical security controls.
- Operate endpoint protection mechanisms and manage day-to-day administration activities.
- Implement and monitor security controls (STIGs, SRGs) and cloud authorization requirements (P-ATO, ATO).
- Collaborate with teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain RMF certifications.
- Oversee cybersecurity training programs and assist customers with compliance needs.
- Interact with Army CSSP, C5ISR, and ISSOs/ISSMs.
This role is integral to ensuring the security of cloud-deployed infrastructure and supporting our customers’ cybersecurity needs.
- Mid to senior level Cybersecurity Technical Administrator experience in a cloud environment.
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT level II certification is required.
- Resource must possess both Baseline and Computing Environment certification as defined in DoD Instruction 8570.01-M.
- Understanding of DOD Risk Management Framework Assessment & Authorization (RMF A&A), FedRAMP, the DOD cloud provisional authorization (PA) process, and the processes to successfully acquire and maintain an Authorization to Operate (ATO).
- Working knowledge of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Process (FedRAMP), cloud security information impact levels (IL), the differences between an ATO and P-ATO, the differences between a CSO and CSP, and the processes to successfully acquire, maintain, and support DOD cloud accreditation.
- Strong understanding of common cyber threat patterns, indicators of compromise, and defenses.
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM).
Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the US government
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders.
