Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead to oversee testing activities and ensure the quality of applications built on the Veeva Vault Platform. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing test scripts using test automation tools such as QTest, Tosca, and Atlassian tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulated environments, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA activities for the Veeva Vault Platform, including planning, execution, and reporting of testing efforts.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance manual and automated test scripts leveraging QTest, Tosca, and other test automation tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
  • Coordinate test planning, defect tracking, and issue resolution using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Drive test automation strategy, improving efficiency, coverage, and reusability of test assets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulated environment standards and maintain validation documentation as required.
  • Mentor and guide QA team members on best practices, tools, and processes.
  • Participate in SDLC processes, including requirement reviews, design discussions, and release planning.

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • 7-9+ years of experience in QA or test leadership roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Platform and its modules.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools like Tosca, QTest, and familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, test planning, and execution.
  • Experience in manual and automated testing, including writing test scripts, scenarios, and regression suites.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in regulated environments (GxP, FDA, or Life Sciences) is preferred.
Preferred technical and professional experience
      • Experience in QA leadership or mentoring teams.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with other automation frameworks or scripting languages (Python, Java, etc.).

Experience working in Life Sciences or pharmaceutical domain is a plus.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
