Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Applications Techno-Functional Lead to oversee, enhance, and support our core business platforms including Oracle, Workday, and Dynatrace. This role serves as the strategic and technical lead for application development, integrations, and business functionality across various client-facing systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical expertise, functional understanding, system analysis, New technology feature development and project management.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Technical Expertise

  • Lead the end-to-end support, configuration, and optimization of Oracle and Workday application environments.
  • Utilize Dynatrace for application performance monitoring, issue identification, root-cause analysis, and proactive system optimization.
  • Serve as the primary technical SME for cross-platform issues, integrations, and performance enhancements.
  • Guide the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable system architecture across enterprise applications.

Techno-Functional Delivery

  • Act as a techno-functional liaison between business teams, IT, and external partners to ensure system capability aligns with functional requirements.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements leveraging Oracle and Workday features and best practices.
  • Support configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and release management activities for HR, finance, and operational modules.
  • Manage and optimize integrations between Oracle, Workday, and other client systems.

Monitoring, Data & Quality

  • Use Dynatrace dashboards, alerts, and analytics to drive incident prevention and application health improvements.
  • Track system SLAs, monitor performance KPIs, and ensure high availability across enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity, access controls, and compliance with internal governance policies.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead a small team of analysts/developers providing direction, coaching, and technical mentorship.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis sessions, technical reviews, and performance assessments.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, application owners, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Manage vendors and coordinate activities for upgrades, patches, integrations, and system releases.

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development, support and technical leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Oracle Applications (ERP / HCM / Financials or relevant modules)
    • Workday (HCM, Finance, Integrations, Reporting)
    • Strong experience in Hireright, Hirevue systems
    • Functional experience and process configuration knowledge in HR/Talent module of workday
    • M&A Experience
  • Strong techno-functional understanding of business processes across HR Function
  • Hands-on experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware), data flows, and troubleshooting complex application issues.
  • Strong SQL\PLSQL expertise with analytical level skillset
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders and supporting client-facing systems in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Workday HCM Certifications.
  • Oracle Certifications
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or enterprise transformation programs.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
