As Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will own how our products and offerings are positioned, understood, and adopted by the market. As a deep-tech product marketing leader, you will play a role in defining the future of computing, driving the adoption of our category-leading technologies and expanding our partner and client ecosystem,
You will sit at the intersection of a cutting edge research team, quickly-developing products and offerings, and enterprise adoption. You will be an eminent voice, modeling our organization’s core value of leadership through clarity and credibility, translating work from the research lab into clear frameworks and narratives that will resonate with technical practitioners and enterprise decision-makers. Your role will report directly to the Head of Marketing, and lead a small but growing team of product marketers as you help clients realize the potential business value available through their adoption of IBM Quantum’s products and services.
Primary ResponsibilitiesLead product positioning and messaging across quantum hardware, software, platform, and offerings.
Evangelize IBM Quantum in new and innovative ways to internal and external audiences.
Drive the go-to-market launches of our products and hardware, from strategic planning, to execution, to performance measurement.
Craft compelling and technically accurate marketing content, including white papers, demos, case studies, presentations, and more.
Engage with technical teams to develop use-case frameworks and clear value propositions that are grounded in our client’s needs, clearly communicating a need to act.
Nurture and grow our existing ecosystem of researchers and developers
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of direct product marketing experience, with significant time spent working with highly technical B2B or emerging technology products.
Proven ability to take ownership and lead product positioning, messaging, and narrative development for complex technical products with audiences at multiple levels of fluency.
Experience operating within a large, cross-functional organization, and an ability to influence without direct authority.
Ability to represent the company and organization as a subject matter expert.
Experience and familiarity with Quantum Computing
Practical experience with and working knowledge of Qiskit
Experience in the promotion or management of high performance computing products, or a related field.
