Your role and responsibilities

As Manager of the Global Conference Management Team, you will lead end-to end event planning and execution, delivering seamless attendee experiences that support business growth. This role emphasizes operational excellence, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure every event is executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Event Planning & Execution: Manage the full event lifecycle from planning through on-site delivery and post-event wrap-up.

  • Elevate Attendee Experience: Deliver a cohesive, high-quality journey across all touchpoints.

  • Lead Vendor Management: Oversee sourcing, contracting, and performance of external partners and agencies.

  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Drive compliance with audit, legal, and financial standards.

  • Coordinate Stakeholders: Align with marketing, sales, and partners to execute against goals.

  • Manage On-Site Delivery: Oversee logistics, production, and staffing for flawless execution.

  • Measure & Improve: Track performance and optimize future events based on insights.

Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Proven experience (8–10+ years) in event management, with a strong focus on large-scale conference planning and end-to-end execution

  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor and agency management, including sourcing, contracting, and performance oversight

  • Strong track record of delivering exceptional attendee experiences across complex, multi-day events

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously

  • Experience managing budgets, procurement processes, and financial controls

  • Deep understanding of event operations, including logistics, production, registration systems, and on-site delivery

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and external partners to drive execution

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

  • Familiarity with event technologies and tools (e.g., registration platforms, CRM/event integration, reporting tools)

• Event Innovation Expertise: Deep understanding of emerging trends and technologies in event marketing, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in event strategies and experiences.

• Advanced Data Analysis: Skilled in analyzing complex event data to extract insights and inform future event strategies, with expertise in using data to measure and optimize event performance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to partner with multiple stakeholders, including demand generation, field marketing, and partner acceleration teams, to drive event objectives and outcomes.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
