The Corporate Security Professional is responsible for implementing and managing security programs that protect people, assets, and operations within their assigned territory. The Security Professional is responsible for implementing and managing security programs that protect people, assets, and operations within their assigned territory. This role bridges strategic objectives with operational execution, ensuring compliance with corporate security standards while adapting to local business needs. The position requires strong leadership, threat and risk management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
Risk & Threat Management
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities, recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
- Proactively identify potential and emerging risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Work with tactical intelligence teams internally and externally, staying current with threat landscapes
- Engage with IBM Executive Protection team to ensure full on-site risk coverage and mitigation
Physical Security & Technology
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and optimization of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, analytics)
- Ensure adherence to corporate security directives and technology standards.
Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management
- Maintain and update emergency plans; train Crisis Management Teams and lead scenario exercises.
- Coordinate response during incidents and ensure timely reporting and resolution.
Investigations & Compliance
- Support investigations into theft, fraud, workplace violence, and other violations.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and corporate security policies.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Manage onsite security services (armed, unarmed, specialty services)
- Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Legal, Real Estate, IT) and external agencies (law enforcement, emergency services).
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Manage communications on security status, incidents, and improvement initiatives.
- Participate in audits and contribute to security training programs for employees and management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security technology platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field; certifications (CPP, PSP) preferred.
