We are looking for a passionate and highly organized Qiskit Community Manager to help grow and support the global Qiskit ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of community engagement, education, developer advocacy, and program operations.
You will work closely with educators, students, developers, researchers, and ecosystem partners to foster an active and welcoming quantum computing community while also supporting the execution of large-scale educational initiatives and programs.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable engaging with technical communities online and in person, coordinating educational programs, and helping create meaningful experiences for learners at all levels.
- Experience managing technical or developer-focused communities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience coordinating educational programs, events, or academic initiatives
- Familiarity with quantum computing, Python, or open-source developer ecosystems
- Experience with platforms such as Discord, Slack, GitHub, LinkedIn, or learning management systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Passion for education, community building, and emerging technologies
- Experience with Qiskit or quantum computing concepts
- Experience supporting global or virtual learning communities
- Background in STEM education, developer advocacy, or technical program management
- Experience with government contracts or grants
- Familiarity with online content creation
