The Role
We’re seeking a motivated Collections Intern to join our Summer 2025 Internship program. This role provides hands-on experience in managing collections processes, supporting our efforts to recover overdue payments while maintaining a positive customer experience. You’ll collaborate closely with Operations, Risk, and Customer Support teams to refine our collections strategies and contribute to creating a scalable, customer-focused framework.
Location
This role will be a hybrid work format, with time split between working remotely and working onsite from our New York HQ, 2-3 days a week as required by your manager.
What You’ll Do
Collections Strategy: Support the development and refinement of collections strategies to enhance recovery rates while prioritizing customer relationships.
Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing collections data to identify trends, optimize outreach, and improve processes.
Customer Engagement: Help manage customer communications for overdue accounts with empathy and professionalism.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with Operations and Risk teams to develop workflows and tools that streamline the collections process.
Compliance Integration: Ensure that all collections activities align with relevant regulations and internal policies.
What We’re Looking For
Incoming College Seniors graduating in 2025-2026.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in collections, risk management, or fintech.
Familiarity with tools like Google Suite, Excel, or CRM software (a plus).
