About Integral

Healthcare data is among the most valuable, expansive, and regulated data in the world—spanning voice interactions, raw images, clinical notes, financial profiles, and more. This data underpins population health outcomes, research, reimbursement, and increasingly AI. But today's manual systems to process, optimize, and deploy this data are broken. Integral provides the missing data operations layer for healthcare. Our Agentic Data Operations Platform streamlines the full set of operations required to make healthcare data usable—from sourcing and compliance to governance and continuous delivery. Instead of relying on fragmented services and bespoke pipelines, enterprises use Integral to manage healthcare data end-to-end through a single, persistent platform. Learn more at useintegral.com.

About the Role

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to own the technical delivery of customer implementations—designing, building, and deploying data solutions that bring our platform to life for each customer. You'll work hands-on with healthcare data, translating business requirements into production-ready pipelines and integrations that solve real problems. You'll be joining at a pivotal moment as we scale our customer base. This role offers direct influence over how we architect solutions and build technical best practices that will shape our platform for years to come. This role is the technical backbone of Integral's customer engagements. You'll partner closely with Implementation Leads and our Customer Success/Operations scope to deliver successful outcomes, while collaborating with Product and Core Engineering to extend platform capabilities. You'll thrive if you enjoy variety—no two customer environments look the same—and if you're energized by the challenge of making complex healthcare data usable.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement data pipelines, integrations, and workflows tailored to each customer's infrastructure and requirements
  • Work directly with customer technical teams to understand their data landscape, security requirements, and integration needs
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and deliver healthcare data at scale
  • Partner with Implementation Leads on technical scoping, solution design, and delivery timelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and integration issues across customer environments
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable improvements, collaborating with Product and Engineering on platform enhancements
  • Develop reusable components, templates, and technical documentation to accelerate future implementations
  • Ensure solutions meet healthcare compliance and security standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.)
  • Serve as a technical advisor to customers, helping them get maximum value from the platform
  • Contribute to internal tooling and automation that improves team efficiency

What We're Looking For

  • 3-6+ years of experience in data engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, or technical consulting
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data infrastructure, particularly AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, etc.)
  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks or similar (e.g. Snowflake)
  • Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Comfortable working directly with customers—you can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with customer engineering teams
  • Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you're building the playbook as you go
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An ownership mentality—you take pride in delivering quality work and proactively identify ways to improve

Nice to Have

  • SaaS experience, particularly in healthcare technology
  • Experience with AI/ML workflows, model training pipelines, or data labeling infrastructure
  • Background in unstructured data processing (NLP, document parsing, image/audio data)
  • Healthcare technology experience or familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI)
  • Experience working with enterprise customers in regulated industries
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with PySpark
