At Grace Hopper 2026, we're looking to connect with data scientists and AI scientists who want to build models that directly shape financial outcomes for real people and small businesses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to develop insights and recommendations that inform product and business decisions

• Build, test, and deploy machine learning and AI models, using both analytical and deep learning approaches

• Design and interpret experiments (A/B tests, causal inference) to measure impact and guide next steps

• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate technical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations

• Apply AI-native development practices to accelerate analysis, prototyping, and insight generation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 3+ years of experience in data science, applied AI/ML, or a related analytical field

• Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and modern statistical or machine learning methods

• Experience with data visualization and communicating technical findings to non-technical audiences

• Comfort working with large-scale data platforms (e.g., Spark, cloud data warehouses)

• Curiosity and fluency with AI tools, and a track record of using them to speed up analysis, coding, or research
