What You'll Do:

Within our Commerce Insights group, we are building sophisticated technology to innovate and catalyze growth for Criteo’s retailer, brand, and agency partners.

We’re seeking a talented & intellectually curious Sales Engineer to work with our Sales Director & Customer Success teams to drive adoption, awareness, and ultimately sales for our proprietary product set.

What You’ll Do

  • Utilize proprietary datasets and platforms to design, build, and ultimately present data-driven insights in a colorful, engaging, and consultative manner

  • Drive preliminary preparation for product demonstrations and sales pitches – including platform preparation, creating custom collateral and/or data analysis to help kickoff sales cycle

  • Deliver technical presentations explaining existing products, services, and roadmap to current / prospective customers as well as internal Criteo colleagues

  • Be a voice of the customer when collaborating with internal stakeholders across engineering, product development and product marketing

  • Recommend product and service packages to best fit prospective client needs

  • Communicate customer requirements to product management teams

  • Play a pivotal role in contract generation process, including renewals and assist in negotiations

  • Become a subject matter expert in all things Commerce Insights and work towards owning your own book of business

Who You Are:

  • Excellent communicator. Strong interpersonal skills are required both for building relationships with clients and effectively communicating with internal engineering, product management, product marketing, and sales colleagues.

  • Strong analytical prowess – Comfort and familiarity with ad hoc analysis, mathematical manipulations, and using visual formats to communicate and highlight analytical trends and optimization recommendations.

  • Problem-solver and creative thinker. Sales engineers must be adept at solving for specific customer needs using defined datasets and reports. This often requires ‘outside the box’ thinking while maintaining focus on the customers strategic goals. A blend of tactical and strategic thinking.

  • Self-confidence. Sales engineers should be confident and persuasive presenting in front of groups of all sizes and seniority levels.

  • Technological skills. Sales engineers must have or develop extensive knowledge of the technologically sophisticated products they sell to explain their advantages and answer questions and it is a bonus to have high level knowledge of both software development cycles as well as software sales cycles.

  • Ambitious and confident working in fast-moving environments. Desire to grow your career and ultimately gain the skills to build towards a sales leadership path.

  • Familiarity with retail media strategies, analytics, and optimization schemas is a major plus.

  • Past work experience and understanding of advertising technology, real-time auction dynamics, insight generation and SEO is a plus (2+ years ideal)

The US base salary pay range for this position per year is:

$140,800 - 176,000
