Job Description
This is an entry level event planner position will be responsible for supporting senior coordinators in the execution of investor events such as NDRs, investor tours and conferences. This role requires candidates that are comfortable working in a fast-paced client-facing environment and are motivated to learn and grow within the corporate access space.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and organizing of various aspects of client events such as researching and securing venues, obtaining compliance approvals, logging and updating data in event platforms.
- Staff in-person events – client registration, working onsite with vendors/external venues, managing onsite client inquiries.
- Pre & Post conference reports generation for internal and external clients.
- Maintain vendor databases, SharePoint sites and other resources related to event execution.
- Keep “best practices” documentation updated.
- Manage calendar of events
- Process invoices and T&E’s
- Assist with iComply for investor events.
- Occasionally take lead on the management of smaller events and earnings calls.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Strong ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, and maintain organized systems.
- Accuracy and precision in all tasks
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay on top of details.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment of real-time market pressures and easily remain focused on client needs.
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills - you listen and communicate in a direct, succinct manner.
- Ability to travel as needed for site visits and event execution.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event calendar.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Experience with event management platforms such as BTS is ideal.
