As an AI Enablement Strategy Manager within the Strategic Artificial Intelligence Governance & Enablement (SAIGE) team, you will drive execution of some of the firm’s highest priorities and top strategic initiatives in AI/ML. You'll develop expertise in AI/ML use cases across Financial Services, enhance problem-solving capabilities and provide strategic leadership to influence and support the agendas of senior management. You will spearhead transformational improvements across the firm and collaborate with AI/ML and Data Leads to enhance firmwide adoption of AI/ML. Your role will involve owning project workstreams, leading working groups, and developing innovative solutions to support the transformation into an AI and data driven culture.

To be successful, you’ll need to apply your extensive hands-on experience in AI/ML, coupled with a robust understanding of current AI technologies, including LLMs, and an awareness of the evolving regulatory environment impacting these technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the AI enablement strategic vision across the firm, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, while managing a portfolio of initiatives and workstreams from inception to completion.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for leadership firmwide while fostering collaboration with both functional and business teams.
  • Lead cross-functional working groups, guiding strategic thinking and problem-solving for leadership decision-making.
  • Establish strong relationships with key AI/ML-related functions firmwide, building a deep network and understanding of the AI/ML landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to provide AI/ML engineering insights ensuring that strategic initiatives are underpinned by technical feasibility and innovation.
  • Develop innovative solutions to support the transformation into an AI and data-driven culture while informing the firmwide AI/ML strategy.
  • Support the agenda of firmwide AI/ML senior governing bodies to drive critical topics for accelerating and adopting AI/ML across the firm.
  • Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure success.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including a strong technical background in AI/ML engineering and coding in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the current AI technological and regulatory landscape, including familiarity with LLMs and experience in managing relationships with external AI vendors.
  • Exceptionally strong client management and executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to define and drive a delivery roadmap with milestone deliveries and status reporting.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize critical issues and information to facilitate efficient decision-making.
  • Anticipates and resolves issues with a sense of urgency.
  • Adapts to a rapidly changing business and technical environment.
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers.
  • Superior command of MS PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Possess strong interpersonal leadership and influencing abilities that enable effective interaction with senior executives.
  • Ability to coach and develop junior talent while providing oversight and guidance to high-priority projects.
