As a Senior Quant Analytics Associate – Business Intelligence within the Asset and Wealth Management ,you will focus on partnering with sales teams to drive more effective distribution through client analytics. You will work closely with sales management to measure the health of the business, make informed data-driven strategic recommendations, and deliver intelligence in the hands of the sales teams. The ideal candidate has experience working with large data sets, is highly-driven, detail-oriented, analytical, organized and an effective communicator.
The Global Business Intelligence and Analytics team has grown exponentially over the last 10 years as the organization has matured from data-guided to data-driven. Our team’s input is critical not only in the analysis stage of objective-setting but also through the enablement and execution of those objectives. The team’s remit spans across developing sales/marketing enablement applications, data modeling, sales and marketing strategy, predictive analytics and more. This unique position requires all team members to be technically proficient, strategic, curious, outcome-oriented and excellent narrators.
Job Responsibilities :
- Delivering analytical client insights to sales teams to enable sales process
- Building and maintaining sales enablement tools to curate key recommendations to sales teams
- Driving new AI enablement insights, capabilities and processes
- Conducting data analyses and prototyping basic statistical or machine learning models
- Working with technology teams to define data strategy and build data models, including data lineage and governance exercises
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- 3+ years of coding experience (Python, Pyspark and SQL)
- Familiarity with Asset Management and/or distribution organizations
- Comfort working in agile product teams
- Experience developing KPIs
- A highly effective communicator and adept at stakeholder management
- Comfort in working flexibly and iteratively with large sets of data
- Strong analytical skills
- AI literacy and understanding, particularly for enabling new intelligence and sales tools
- Multi-talented, high-energy individual that will help create, coordinate and execute on our strategic priorities across sales, analytics, and technology
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and Skills :
- At least 3+ years of experience in roles within data analytics / strategy, asset management preferred
- BA / BS degree – major/minor in business, analytics, data science, AI or related fields
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, requirements and timelines by utilizing problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Python, and/or other common project and business
